Another Deputy-Tryout ~

Now that there is two new leaders in the forest, two new deputies will be needed *points to this thread and Naruto's* And Solarstar needs a deputy.

Now, to submit your cat is very easy. Copy/paste the bio and write a well written RP sample of how you would RP a deputy.

All ShadowClan cats must be:

a] A warrior.

b] Has had one or more apprentices.

c] Made before July 1st.

So yeah, Thistleclaw was made on May 3rd along with his younger sister, Cherrypaw. He has had one apprentice; Eaglepaw.

Truth be told, I'm actually pretty terrified to be writing this...

Name: Thistleclaw
Gender: Tom
Age: 25 moons

Looks: Thistleclaw has pale, sand-coloured fur with strange darker brown markings. His eyes are the exact same shade of green as Cherrypaw's left eye. The stripes on his limbs are such a dark brown that they are almost black, as are the stripes on and near the tip of his tail.

Personality: Thistleclaw is a brave warrior. He is stubborn and will fight for what he believes in, although he can be a bit of a mouse-brain about it sometimes. He likes to think things thoroughly before he does them, although it often means his reactions are delayed. He likes to hunt alone because it gives him time to think, and also because he doesn't do well under pressure. He was very protective of his younger sister, and often wonders how she's doing. He has a soft spot for bunny rabbits and his arch nemesis is a vampire unicorn who continues to haunt him in his dreams. :I
Birth: Clan-born

History: Cherrypaw and Thistleclaw, Cherrykit and Thistlepaw at the time, were born to two warriors in another Clan. That particular Clan was suffering, and didn't want to put their kits through what they were enduring, so gave them to a FireClan cat who brought them to the camp. But Thistleclaw escaped and wound up in ShadowClan territory, where he was brought up.

RP sample: The moon had set to let the sun take over for its daytime patrol to guard the sky. A well-muscled tom padded from the warrior den to the clearing, pausing only to stretch his limbs, still stiff from sleep. Stifling a yawn, he padded around the camp to get used to using his limbs again. The ground felt cold and unfamiliar against his pads, and for a moment, he longed for their old home. But then, he also remembered the numerous hardships they had to endure back then. The flood had rid the lands of prey, and they had a hard time even finding a single frog. The land here was richer, the prey plumper. But even so, Thistleclaw missed his old home. He'd been born there (OOC: As far as he knows :D), was raised there, and even found a mate and had kits there. But the tom told himself that it would just take time, that eventually he would warm up to it. He would have to eventually, wouldn't he?

The sound of movement brought him back form his thoughts. ShadowClan was waking from its slumber. He padded over to where a she-cat with a white chest and belly was eating. "Feralpelt, would you please lead the dawn patrol?" He had the list of cats he wanted to lead patrols ready in his mind from the previous night. "And make sure you take at least one apprentice with you. I want them to learn the new territory, and to remember the borders. We don't want trouble with the other Clans while we're still settling in." He added. Although he doubted that would even happen, it was far better to be safe than sorry.

He turned around to look for another warrior. "Cloudfrost!" He called, spotting the long-haired grey tom. "Take a few cats with you for a hunting patrol, please." He shot a glance at the fresh-kill pile. It was filled with plump, juicy-looking prey, yes, but it was also fairly small. The hunting was already far better here than at their old home back on the other side of the mountains. The thick foliage housed a large number of prey and was rich in herbs as well. He was glad, because it would make Hazelspirit's job alot easier for her. The young tortoiseshell medicine cat already had lots on her paws, having to tend to those injured during the journey. He was mostly worried about her hind leg troubling her, so he decided he would send an apprentice to help her if needed.

The sun had risen just above the tree-line, washing the camp in a soft rosy gold light. Thistleclaw stood there, watching the Clan that he might one day lead himself. The elders were asleep; he would have to remember to ask an apprentice to get their bedding changed soon. An apprentice was bounding out of the well-guarded camp, training at the back of the dawn patrol, and there were a couple kits play-fighting near the entrance of the nursery, while a queen looked on with a small smile on her face. This morning wasn't too busy, so he padded towards the warm den, soft milky scents already taking it over. He poked his head into the den to search for a tortoiseshell pelt. The queen he'd been looking for was sound asleep in her nest, four kits curled up against her rounded belly. The kits were getting rather large for the den, and the tom who had fathered them made a mental note to arrange for their apprenticing ceremonies to make room for the ones to come. A smile of affection spread across his face as the only tom in the litter twitched his leg in his sleep with a half-dazed smile on his face. It's like he's chasing a mouse in his dream... The thought made him hold back a laugh as he padded away.

Things were looking up for ShadowClan.

Yeah, he can be a shtupid, but he's not that thick-skulled. :L

Well... sometimes the vampire unicorn uses the bunny rabbits as bait... he hasn't died yet though, so it's coo, right?

Yeah, well, maybe. I wouldn't suggest letting him sleep anymore though. Sometimes they lure out innocent bystanders with the promise of jolly ranchers. And then poof. They shrivel into dust.

Oh, that's not good... I'll make sure he doesn't doze off anymore. He does like Jolly Ranchers, so that might be a problem.
