OH THE IRONY

So hero guys. I have time, so I'm blogging about yesterday, the last day of term 1 for me and Celestial. It is now holidays!

At our school we do a lot of fundraising for certain charities. Like the red puppy appeal for the guide dogs, Balloon Day for the asthma foundation and others I can't be bothered to remember. This year the first three terms are lengthened, and the last shortened, so Balloon Day this year fell during the current holidays, so we celebrated it at school yesterday. Everyone buys balloons and stuff, and they got delivered in homeroom yesterday morning.

But yesterday afternoon, before our lovely Easter Liturgy (*groan*) I had P.E. (*cheer*) I hadn't brought my inhaler to school because yesterday and Thursday's timetables had been switched, but I did have my P.E gear cause I had Hockey practise, I had my inhaler before I got in the car to go.

So I had P.E and we were practicing for cross-country. This meant doing a rather grueling circuit up some mighty steep hills. Why, did our school have to be situated on a rather large hill? But anyway, I was down at the busy intersection/round-a-bout which marks the 'two thirds of the way there' point. But then you have to go up a RULLY steep hill, the steepest of them all.

So, me and my friend are running casually and everything and then my throat clenches and I practically collapsed on the ground. My friend totally freaked out. I'm like her first friend who's Asthamatic, except for Celestial or whatever. She had no idea what the hell was happening, so she started lightly slapping my arm, trying to wake me up. I came round, sorta. I couldn't breathe or anything, and because our P.E teachers are too lazy to walk down a hill to monitor the running, there was no teachers around. So once I sorta woke, or whatever, my friend practically dragged me/carried me up this amazingly steep hill, then all the way to our homeroom, cause she couldn't get up the stairs to the nurse, which was closer then our classroom. So then our teacher went out and spazzed at the P.E teachers, which was hilarious to watch semi-concious. But yeah the nurse came down and I was already breathing better, but not amazingly well. But I was alright in the end.

HOWS THAT FOR ASTHMA AWARENESS/BALLOON DAY!!!!

Yeah, afterwards, my friend actually grabbed the nurses inhaler and went to tape it to my arm, but the nurse was like o.o

*doesn't think she's ever seen Fishie use that face before*

I've never seen an asthma attack before. But I've heard of one of my friends having a spasm attack in the middle of class, the one day I was absent. x3

Spasms is dangerous D: Much more dangerous than an asthma attack.

Er... I've never fainted once in my life. I've had a lot of painful asthma attacks, but they aren't very bad. I get them regularly enough, and I've only been to hospital.. twice? So yeah :D

I nearly died when I was a few months old 'cause I stopped breathing. I'm glad that I didn't die though because then it'd be such a waste of undiscovered talent XD

'Started lightly slapping your arm'? I couldn't help laughing at that point.

I did that twice. I went as blue as a blueberry :D *Not very original*

And I stuffed a plastic strawberry up my left nostril once. That wasn't particularly serious but I had to go have it taken out at the doctors X3 I haven't been able to smell properly since.

Heh. Horsefield.

Anyways, I don't get how the irony is what's getting to you. Shouldn't it be more the fact that your friend saved your ass? xD
